Giving
Giving is worship before it is arithmetic. Every gift below is one way our church family returns a portion of what God has already provided.
How To Give
Three ways, all of them fine
There is no preferred method and no minimum. Give the way that is easiest for you.
Online
Give from anywhere
Online giving is not set up yet. Until it is, the mail and the Sunday offering both work exactly as well — and cost the church nothing in processing fees.
Church staff: add your giving link under Admin → Settings.
In Person
On Sunday morning
The offering is received during worship. Cash or check, in the plate, with the fund written on the memo line if you want it designated.
If you are visiting, please let it pass. The offering is for the congregation.

Where It Goes
What you can give toward
Write the fund on your check memo, or note it when you give online. Undesignated gifts go to the general fund, which covers the first two below.
-
Tithes
The first tenth, given back to God through the local church. Tithes carry the ordinary work of this congregation - the lights, the ministry, the pastor, the week-in week-out life of the church.
-
Offerings
Anything given above the tithe. Offerings are how we say yes to needs that come up mid-year without waiting for a budget line to appear.
-
Missions
Support for Free Methodist missionaries and mission work at home and overseas, through Free Methodist World Missions and the River Conference.
-
Building Maintenance Fund
The roof, the air conditioning, the parking lot, the things nobody notices until they break. This fund keeps the building ready for everyone who uses it, our congregation and our community groups alike.
-
Special Projects
One-time efforts the congregation takes on together - a benevolence need, a youth trip, a piece of equipment, a season of outreach. We name each project when it comes up.
Giving statements
We mail an annual statement for tax purposes to everyone who gave a recorded gift. If yours does not arrive by the end of January, call the office and we will get you a copy.
Questions about the budget
Any member can ask to see how the church spends what it receives. Contact the office and we will walk you through it — no appointment with a committee required.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
